What data we collect

Only what you send us in the contact form: your name, your email address and the content of the message. We also record the date the message was sent and the IP address it was sent from, in order to limit automated submissions.

We do not use cookies, we do not use traffic analytics tools and we do not embed third-party content on this site. No data is therefore collected while you browse.

What we use it for

Only to reply to you and, where applicable, to take your request forward. We do not use this data to send marketing communications, and we do not pass it to third parties for that purpose.

The legal basis is our legitimate interests in replying to those who contact us, or the taking of steps prior to entering into a contract at your request, under Article 6 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We keep the message for 24 months from the last communication between us. If the enquiry leads to a project, the data becomes part of the client file and is kept for the periods required by law. The rate-limiting records are deleted after one hour.

Who else has access to it

The message is sent by email to our mailbox through the server of CloudByte, Lda., which acts as a processor and processes the data only in order to deliver and store the message. We do not use any external form service.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, for its rectification or erasure, to restrict or object to the processing, and for data portability. Write to info@novaorigem.pt.

If you consider that your data is not being processed properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), the Portuguese data protection supervisory authority (cnpd.pt).
